This book is called Fly By Night, written by Frances Hardinge. It is about a girl named Mosca from a small town named Chough in historical England. She is running from her past and on her way ran into a man by the name of Clent. She and Clent ran to the town of Mandalion to find work. He is a poet and storywriter so he hired her as his secretary. On the way there they got a ride from the sister of the Duke Lady Tameried. Clent was somehow a danger to her so now she is working as a spy for her to try and protect her government agency. After a long trip the got to Mandalion and when they got there Mosca was signed in as a secret spy for the enemy of Lady Tameried. Now Mosca is in the middle of two secret govrnment agencies. You will have to read this amazing book to find out what happens.
